HAIMBE INVITES KOREAN INVESTORS TO ZAMBIA


Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister MULAMBO HAIMBE has urged the Korean business community to explore investment opportunities in Zambia.

Speaking during the Zambia business country session held on the margins of the 2024 Korea-Africa Summit in Seoul, Mr. HAIMBE highlighted mining, agriculture, energy, infrastructure and technology as sectors for investment.

He encouraged Korean companies to consider the potential in value addition in the mining sector, which boasts of reserves of copper, cobalt, and other minerals vital to industries.

In a statement issued to ZNBC news, Mr. HAIMBE noted that Zambia, with its rich natural resources and strategic location, offers a lot of investment prospects across various sectors.

The Minister said the Government is steadfast in fostering an environment conducive for business growth and development.
