JESSE WERE RETURNS TO ZESCO UNITED

ZESCO United has announced the return of the Kenyan International star striker and century goal top scorer Jesse Jackson Were from Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club.

The naturally gifted star striker with a razor sharp eye for goals, Jesse Were first signed for ZESCO United in 2016 from the Kenyan Premier League league side Tusker FC and went on to win four league titles, two ABSA CUP Championships and two Charity Shield honours for ZESCO before his trophy-laden 5 years at ZESCO ended. Jesse Were left ZESCO United as the all-time record goal scorer and the first player to score 100 goals for ZESCO.

In January 2022, Were joined Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club and contributed significantly to the team’s 7th position strong finish in the 2021/2022 MTN Super League and was club top scorer after netting 8 goals and providing 6 assists for Mabanga Boys.

Jesse Were has re-joined the nine-times Zambia Premier League Champions in their tenth title chase up to the end of the 2023/2024 season and he was unveiled at the ZESCO United Secretariat in Ndola this morning.

  1. Perfectly written subject material, appreciate it for selective information. “He who establishes his argument by noise and command shows that his reason is weak.” by Michel de Montaigne.

  2. Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
