Schools and colleges to open on 12 February 2024- MOE

Government has announced further postponement of the reopening of schools owing to the outbreak of Cholera in the country.

✅Minister of Education announced the development at a press briefing held in Lusaka this afternoon.

✅Schools and Colleges of Education both public and private will now reopen on 12th February, 2024.

✅To recover on the lost time, the academic calendar will run as follow:

TERM 1
Opening on Monday, 12th February, 2024
Closing on Friday, 26th April, 2024

TERM 2
Opening on Monday, 6th May, 2024
Closing on Friday, 9th August, 2024

TERM 3
Opening on Monday, 2nd September, 2024
Closing on Friday, 6th December, 2024
