CONCOURT TO RULE ON LUNGU’S ELIGIBILITY ON 10TH DECEMBER

The Constitutional Court has set December 10, 2024 for judgment on former President EDGAR LUNGU’s eligibility case.

The case was opened and closed today after submissions from both parties.

The hearing was presided upon by a panel of Seven Constitutional Court Judges, among them the Court’s President MARGARET MUNALULA and her deputy ARNOLD SHILIMI.

This is in a matter where youth activist CHIZOMBE has sought the Constitutional Court’s determination on whether or not the former President was eligible to contest the 2021 General Elections.
