SANKOLONGA RESIDENTS PLEDGE TO VOTE FOR THE UPND.

MWANDI – A wind of excitement has swept through Sankolonga ward of Mwandi Constituency with only few days remaining before the people go to the polls for the Sankolonga ward By-election

The residents have pledged to vote for the UPND candidate due to a number of promises which the UPND government has implemented under President Hakainde Hichilema.

Achievements such as free education, permanent and pensionable jobs, increase in annual CDF allocations as well as several other community and capital projects currently taking shape in the area.

UPND Western Province Chairman Kapelwa Mbangweta said peace is very important to maintain in any election and has assured the residents of Sankolonga ward for effective development in the area.

Mr. Mbangweta says the UPND government has done so much in fulfilling some of its campaign promises in the two years of being in office.

Mr. Mbangweta who is also the Minister for the Province said President Hakainde Hichilema has a great vision for Zambia which is already starting to take route through enhance service delivery.

Mwandi’s Sankolongo electorates on friday December 1st, 2023 exercise their democratic right to elect a new Councillor through a ballot box in an election necessitated by the resignation of the sitting independent councillor to join the Zambia Army.

During the meeting 67 Patriotic Front members led by ward Chairperson Sankolonga, Sikwibele Mufulubala joined the governing party UPND.

The meeting was attended by Mwandi area MP Sibeso Sefulo Kakoma, UPND Western Province Youth Chairperson Jack Mwanga, Mubita Memory Provincial trustee and Local Leadership.
