On Monday, June 17, the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Chairperson, Mrs. Mwangala Zaloumis SC, was formally admitted to the Inner Bar.
Chief Justice Mumba Malila presided over the ceremony, which was witnessed by members of the Commission, management, and staff.
Mrs. Frances Mwangala Ifunga Zaloumis was appointed as a State Counsel by the President of Zambia on March 13, 2024.
Other appointed State Counsel who were admitted to the Inner Bar include:
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Mrs. Nelly Butete Kashumba Mutti; the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security, Hon. Jacob Jack Mwiimbu, MP; Mr. Arshad Abdulla Dudhia; and Mrs. Kondwa Emily Sakala Chibiya.
