GBM Found Guilty and Convicted

Former Defence Minister GEOFREY MWAMBA has been found guilty and convicted in 12 counts of conflict of interest, money laundering and possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.


Magistrate STANFORD NGOBOLA said he was satisfied that the prosecution had proved their case against the accused in the 12 counts.


Judgment is currently underway at the LUSAKA Magistrates Court, with Mr MWAMBA’s case having counts up to 24, which are yet to be determined.
