Governance and Development Advocates Zambia Executive Director Elias Mulenga has congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema’s Administration for recruiting over 7000 Teachers.
Mr. Mulenga said the development will improve the teacher – pupil ratio in schools.
He said the move will also reduce joblessness among those in the teaching profession.
The Executive Director called on recruited Teachers to accept serving in remote areas where their services are needed most as opposed to seeking transfers to urban areas.
Mr. Mulenga urged Government to extend the gesture to other sectors to fill vacancies due to deaths, resignations, retirements, among others.
He urged other unemployed youths to remain patient as Government has demonstrated commitment towards addressing unemployment in Zambia.
