EconomicFront (EF) Leader Wynter Kabimba has urged the media and members of the public not to connect the departure of Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Chief Electoral Officer Patrick Nshindano from ECZ to the nullification of the seat of former Kwacha constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Joseph Malanji.
According to Mr Kabimba, a meeting was held by ECZ about two days ago to discuss the departure Mr Nshindano, while the court ruling to nullify the Kwacha seat was announced the day after.
And Mr Kabimba said the UPND Government will not succeed in its endeavour to bring down the Patriotic Front (PF) Members of Parliament, adding that the Zambian people understand the failures of the ruling party.
He said he wonders what strategy President Hakainde Hichilema will use to win the votes of the people of Kwacha and Kabushi constituency, seeing that the head of state will no longer have to compete with Former President Edgar Lungu but with himself.
