Governance and Development Advocates Zambia have not welcomed the move to reconcile President Hakainde Hichilema and former President Edgar Lungu
Executive Director Elias Mulenga says this reconciliation will just spark more controversy as the two leaders have no personal vendettas but that which represents the interest of the nation of Zambia
Mr Mulenga said this is a matter that cam determine the welfare of our nation on whether we shall build up or break up it’s not an easy task as it boarders on a give and take process and some foreign cooperating country partners have put their eyes open on Zambia
Mulenga said all political players in the country should be involved in the reconciliatory process it is therefore prudent that a national reconciliatory indaba be called so that all the players participate and that will serve the interest of the Zambians
Mr Mulenga said the parties will be compelled to assent to the terms and conditions of the national reconciliatory agreement which will be a drawing board.
Mr Mulenga has since commended President Hichilema for showing the spirit of love by adherence to the call of the Reformed Church.
Mulenga has further called on former President Edgar Lungu to follow suit and use the platform to address his concerns with President Hichilema.
