Police in Lusaka have charged and arrested a 34-year-old man of Meanwood Chamba Valley identified as Musense Apuleni for operating a Health facility without a Licence.
In a statement this morning, Police deputy public relations officer Danny Mwale said this was after Police received a tip-off from concerned members of the public that there was an unknown person who was running a page on social media platforms where services such as abortion, circumcision, DNA test, infertility problems and treatment of Sexual Transmitted Infections including HIV where advertised.
He said Police launched investigations and managed to arrest the suspect on March 14, 2024 around 10:00 hours in Olympia park area.
Mr. Mwale noted that the suspect is in custody waiting for court appearance.
