Minister of Mines and Mineral Resource Paul Kabuswe has charged that the negotiation between would be investors of Mpani and Konkola Copper Mines are still underway.
Recently the Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources Paul Kabuswe promised to give an update on the negotiation between the two parties at the end of the month which is on Monday July 31st.
Addressing the media in Lusaka, Mr. Kabuswe says government can not give it’s position on the matter because they have not concluded the discussion.
He says they will ensure that the negotiation are done within the mining and minerals act to ensure that everything is done within the law.
Mr. Kabuswe has since assured of giving regular update on the matter until it reaches its conclusive stage.
