Mimbula Mineral Limited of Chingola District on the Copperbelt Province,a Subsidiary of Moxico Resources,has embarked on a massive tree planting exercise in order to mitigate effects of climate change and to promote environmental protection.
The Company has since commenced a massive tree planting exercise within the company greenfield areas to replace the trees that were cut during the mining activities when the Mine commenced it’s operations.
The exercise which has coincided with the World Environmental Day Commemorations is being implemented to supplement the Zambian government’s efforts in mitigating effects of climate change.
