KK STILL LIVING WITH ZAMBIANS IN THE STRUGGLE FOR MORE JUSTICE – M’MEMBE

Socialist Party (SP) President Fred M’membe says First President of Zambia Dr. Kenneth Kaunda will always live in Zambians in their revolutionary struggles for more justice, more fair, and more humane world.

In his message to mark Dr. Kaunda’s 100th birthday, Dr. M’membe said it gives Zambians a sense of pride, confidence, and hope celebrating the life of a man who was a blessing to all.

The Opposition Leader said Dr. Kaunda’s spirit of patriotism, humility, solidarity, and honesty lives on in Zambians adding that his humour and honesty are missed every day.

“Hundredth birthday greetings to dear Comrade KK, a remarkable man in heaven. Your legacy lives on in our hearts. You were the rock of our nation, and today, we celebrate you. Happy birthday in heaven,” he said.

Dr. M’membe said though Dr. Kaunda is gone, he will be forever in Zambia’s political discourse, stories, and hearts.

“Your strength and love continue to guide us. You taught us so much, and we carry your wisdom always. In your memory, we find comfort and love,” he said.

Dr. Kaunda, the first President of Zambia, was born on April 28, 1924 and was a significant figure in Zambia’s struggle for independence having served as President from 1964 to 1991.

His birthday is marked as a notable day in Zambia, celebrating his contributions to the nation’s history and development.

Although Dr. Kaunda passed away on June 17, 2021, his legacy continues to be honored by Zambians and the broader international community.
