Water Development and Sanitation Minister Eng. Collins Nzovu has disclosed that the 449 million United States Dollars Kafulafuta Dam in Masaiti District will be Commissioned in October next month.
Eng. Nzovu disclosed this in Ndola yesterday adding that the project is a game changer as it will improve the livelihood of hundreds of residents who will now have access to increased hours of water supply .
The Kafulafuta Dam envisages to improve water supply to townships under Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company Limited.
Over One million customers are expected to benefit from the water project.
