Commander Zambia Army Lieutenant GeneralSitali Dennis Alibuzwi, Officers, Soldiers and Civilian Employees of Zambia Army, with heavy hearts, are saddened with the passing of Former Zambia Air Force Commander, Lieutenant General Reverend Ronnie Shikapwasha Retired.
Lt Gen Shikapwasha died yesterday, Monday 15 January, 2024 at Maina Soko Medical Center in Lusaka around 21:45 hours.
Maina Soko Medical Centre Commandant, Brigadier General (Dr) Levy Muchemwa had confirmed his demise.
Lt Gen Shikapwasha had a distinguished career, serving as Defence Attaché to the People’s Republic of Tanzania, Zambia Air Force Commander.
He also served as Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs in the MMD government. He was a military pilot.
