WE ARE READY FOR NIGER-LUBAMBO

Fit again skipper Lubambo Musonda says the Chipolopolo are ready for tomorrow’s clash with the Menas of Niger in a Group E 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Speaking during a pre-match press conference at the Grand Stade Marrakech this morning, Musonda said the lads were looking forward to tomorrow’s game.
“The team is ready; it is in high spirits. You could see that even when we played our last game that we wanted to win and have been working hard and putting in all the work,” he said.
“We are looking forward to tomorrow’s game and we will give our best.”
The Silkeborg IF star who missed Friday’s game due to an ankle injury says he was happy to be back in full training and available for selection.
“I was out in the first game recovering from an ankle injury but now I am back in training, and I feel better and now working on getting back stronger in the team. I am looking forward to tomorrow’s game and the rest is for the coach to decide,” he said.
Zambia plays Niger on Tuesday (tomorrow) at the Grand Stade Marrakech in a 21:00 hours (Zambian time) kick-off.
