Patriotic Front (PF) Information and Publicity chairperson Raphael Nakachinda says the nullification of former Kwacha constituency Member of Parliament Joseph Malanji is not justifiable.
Speaking in an exclusive interview,Mr Nakacinda said if Mr Malanji was not eligible, petition was supposed to be made 14 days after the after the nomination.
He has backed Mr Malanji’s decision to recontest the seat, saying the move will put the court in an awkward position because Mr Malanji has a full grade 12 certificate.
And Mr Nakachinda says the Mutual separation between the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) and ECZ Chief Electoral officer Patrick Nshindano is a scheme by President Hakainde Hichilema.
According to Mr Nakachinda, President Hichilema on one of his trips to Copperbelt province said he would deal with all ECZ officials.
Mr Nakachinda noted that the United Party for National Development (UPND) Government is aiming to put individuals aligned to the ruling party, with the hope to rig the 2026 presidential elections.
