NANGOMA COMMUNITY UPLIFTED ON A NETWORK BOOST.

President Hakainde Hichilema has continued to score and deliver earmarked development of infrastructure in various economic sectors accross the Country as evidently recorded in Nangoma constituency of Mumbwa District on the delivery of network towers earmarked for construction to improve communication amongst the local people says Technology and Science Minister Felix Mutati.

Addressing a celebrated and enthusiastic people of Nangoma Constituency at the Ground Breaking Ceremony to mark the initial construction and installation of the first Telecommunication Tower at Keezwa site, the Minister said Government is fulfilling it’s promises on its lined up programmes to uplift the livelihoods of the people.

The Minister said the 30 kilometers transmission radius tower will enhance communication to help foster development in a broader sphere of various daily activities pursued by the community.

The Minister also disclosed that Government will yet again deliver two more towers to boost network services in Mumbwa District.

And appreciating the importance of free Education, the Minister announced that Government will augment learning and empower the community with computers and accessories to inspire and help local school going pupils in the acquisition of computer and digital literate skills.

The Minister extended gratitute to the First Lady Mutinta Hichilema who is a native of Nangoma. The First Lady has been instrumental in the initiative and felt the need to take development to have the communication connectivity amongst the people of Nangoma Constituency.

The Minister commended the Area Member of Parliament Honourable Collins Nzovu for actualising deliverables of road upgrading, power grid installations, schools, and more developmental infrastructure programmes on course.

He urged the community to appreciate the communication tower infrastructure investment and safe guard it on a collective community ownership.
