Lusaka Central Constituency Independence Ward 17 Councillor Mubotu Madyenkunku says citizens should expect progress to be made within the course of the week with regards the Mobile Money activities in the designated areas of operation.
Speaking in a telephone interview, Mr Madyenkunku said the mobile transaction business will not fail, neither will Mobile Money operators succumb to any lose because customers will still go to the allocated areas to be serviced.
Asked if mobile Money operators will be compensated following the destruction of their booths, Mr Madyenkunku said he has no details on the issue.
He however stated that more information concerning compensating booth operators will be given by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.
