Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation is a Government-Ministry overseeing the Water Sector in Zambia and only employs staff when Cabinet office Authorizes.
Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation Permanent Secretary Engineer Joe Kalusa has dismissed Social Media advert circulating in various platforms purporting to be employing Safety Environmental Officer.
Eng. Kalusa dismissed all claims surrounding the employment issue as false and malicious therefore, all job seekers should not treat the advert as official.
“We would like to advise the general public that as the Ministry we have not placed any advert in any Newspaper or our Facebook page of such activity,” stated Mr Kalusa.
He has since warned scammers to desist from robbing citizens by using the Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation in their criminal schemes.
The Permanent Secretary was reacting to an overwhelming application letters that have been deposited at the Human Resource Department seeking employment as Safety Environmental Officers in the past two (2) weeks of which more than ten job Seekers have been swindled after paying Six Hundred Kwacha(K600) each. Therefore, beware of fraudsters, and the Ministry will not ask for any payment in respect of recruitments.
It’s the Ministry’s mandate to uphold the integrity and deal in issues related to Water transparently.
