Zambian High Commissioner Promotes Investment Opportunities at Copper to the World Conference in Adelaide, South Australia.

Adelaide, South Australia –June 19, 2024:

Zambia’s High Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand His Excellency Dr. Elias Munshya, has featured as a panelist at the ongoing Copper to the World Conference.

Dr. Munshya has invited participants of the World Conference, to visit Zambia and witness the country’s conducive business environment the Zambian government, through President Hakainde Hichilema has created for investors and partners.

During his address, Dr. Munshya emphasized Zambia’s competitive tax system, the availability of skilled manpower, and, most crucially, the abundant copper resources that are ripe for investment.

He highlighted the collaborative potential between Zambia and South Australia, both of which are significant copper-producing jurisdictions.

Following this engagement, it is anticipated that several participants from the conference will travel to Zambia to explore business opportunities.

Dr. Munshya also invited the delegates to attend the Mining Insaka, scheduled to take place in Zambia from October 7 to October 11, 2024.

He will lead a delegation of Australian businesses at this event. Furthermore, plans are underway for another business investment delegation to visit Zambia in early 2025.

The Copper to the World Conference is an annual meeting that brings together businesses and professionals allied to the copper industry.

The positive response from the participants at the conference underscores the growing interest in Zambia as a prime destination for copper mining investments.
