A Grade Six Pupil aged 14 in Lusaka’s Matero Township has been found four months pregnant, prompting an arrest of the alleged father, 35-year-old Peter Ssentumbwe, commonly known as Mohammad, of Chunga Township.
The suspect who has been charged with defilement, is said to have committed the act between May and October, 2023, in Chunga Township.
Police Public Relations Officer, Rae Hamoonga, says mother to the victim reported the matter to Police after discovering that her daughter was pregnant on 2nd January ,2024, later pointing at the suspect as the potential father.
