Judgement in which 927 widows for deceased miner and other miners who discharge on medical grounds has been reported missing in the KITWE HIGH COURT.
This was confirmed today when Kankoyo Member of parliament Hon Heartson Mabeta, representatives of the group Mrs Mbuzi and investigating officer from Mufulira police visited the kitwe registrar today.
This is a case in which 927 EX miners are complaining that they sued ZCCM_IH in 1997 through a lusaka based lawyer Mr Nharimushemi. Judgement was passed in 2014 to compasate the miners 140 Billion kwacha old currency or 140 million kwacha in the rebased currency but the intended beneficiary have not received any coin to date.
The kankoyo law maker has engaged a lawyer to help the affected miners recover their money with interest.
