United Party for National Development – UPND says the New Dawn Administration has done wonders in Muchinda Chiefdom, Serenje District, Central Province.
UPND Serenje District Chairperson Benson Njobvu said Government is implementing ten projects in Muchinda Chiefdom.
This came to light in Serenje when Senior Chief Muchinda Kankomba Welala the Third handed over a hammer mill, mealie meal, blankets, sugar and cooking oil to over 150 aged people and those with Disabilities.
The Senior Chief also handed over bicycles and cell phones to all his Headmen exceeding 28.
And Mr. Njobvu said six out of the ten projects have been completed and handed over for use.
The UPND Serenje District Boss said Government is building a hospital in Muchinda Ward.
Mr. Njobvu said Government is building a health post at Lupiya in Muchinda Chiefdom.
He said Government will soon complete works on Luombwa River in readiness for commissioning.
