Care for Nature Zambia Executive Director Nsama Musonda Kearns has called on Government to quickly guide on the issue of Sex toys in Zambia.
Commenting on Dynamic Analysis Zambia-DAZ- WhatsApp group this morning, Mrs. Kearns said her organization which is working with children is deeply concerned with the contents of the articles carried in Diggers Newspaper because the paper has no control over who will access this page and get negatively influenced by what they read.
Mrs. Kearns said should Government turn a blind eye on this issue, the Zambian people may begin to speculate or further lead to increased demand for these items
Meanwhile, Mrs. Kearns has stressed the need for Zambia to come up with an affirmative position on issues of sexuality so that people are not left in suspense as this leads to self regulation.
“Not long ago we were debating Comprehensive Sex Education as some sections of society thought the contents of this subject would corrupt morals of children.”
“Similarly, while the articles published in Diggers maybe suitable for adults, the content may not be suitable for children.” Mrs. Kearns said.
