Ministry of Information Media Director Thabo Kawana says the New Dawn Government is not afraid of introducing the access to information bill.
Speaking when he featured on Ubuntu Channel’s meet your leaders program, Mr Kawana assured the public that the enactment of the freedom of information bill will be done before the end of the year.
He said the bill is currently been drafted by the ministry of Justice, adding that it will be taken to Parliament soon.
Mr Kawana noted that the bill will not only benefit the public, but also the Government.
And Mr Kawana says Government is currently carrying out a land audit which will not allow foreigners to buy land, but bring in their investments through partnering with Zambians if their businesses are to thrive.
According to Mr Kawana, Government will see to it that land title deeds will be granted to citizens on time.
